What ‘refurbished’ really means
A refurbished laptop has been deep-cleaned, fully tested, had its battery health verified, and any failing components replaced. The unit is graded A / B / C based on cosmetic wear.
Specs to prioritise
- CPU generation — an 11th-gen Intel i5 or Ryzen 5 5000-series will feel current for 3-4 more years.
- RAM — aim for 16 GB minimum.

When to buy new
